During the course of twelve weeks, I created a self-portrait per week. Each week I would try and learn from my mistakes from the previous week. Something that I learned from this exercise was how important it is to map out a drawing, take full advantage of different grades of graphite, and always make sure you have a full spectrum of values.
I have also created many observational drawings of objects below my portraiture drawings. These focused much more on fine details.
